Hetauda Community Eye Hospital in Makwanpur District was established on 20 Nov 2008 with the support of TIO and its partner, Himalayan Cataract Project (HCP).
Local community groups, such as the Rotary Club, were also behind the project.
Hetauda Community Eye Hospital provides comprehensive quality eye care to the rural communities of Makawanpur and its neighboring districts in Nepal.
The Hetauda Community Eye Hospital works with the vision of preventing and treating the disease which is fully filled with the hospital service, screening program, outreach program, awareness program, and different training programs.
